Terms that apply to every order

These terms apply to every offer on this website and to every agreement concluded through it between us and a consumer. A consumer is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. This store is not intended for use by anyone under 13. Anyone aged 13 to 17 may only use it with the consent of a parent or guardian, who is then responsible for the order.

3. Products and descriptions

Product pages state the legal fibre composition by weight, the recycled share of the yarn, the source category of that recycled fibre, the processing route where the supplier has disclosed it, and the full composition of the share that is not recycled.

Photographs show the product as accurately as photography allows. Wool products are made from reprocessed fibre that is not re-dyed; shade varies between batches by up to 5%. That variation is a property of the material and is not a defect.

No product sold here holds third-party certification, and no product page claims one. The basis for every material figure is set out on the materialen page.

4. Placing an order

An agreement is concluded when we confirm your order by email. Before you confirm, the checkout shows the products, the total price in USD, any tax, the delivery cost, the delivery address and — where an item is sealed — a separate confirmation that sealed items cannot be returned once opened.

We send an order confirmation to the email address you give us. That confirmation repeats the legal information, your right of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form, on a durable medium you can keep.

We may refuse an order, in which case we tell you within five working days and refund anything already paid.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars (USD) and run from USD 10 to USD 128. Dutch VAT of 21% applies where the sale is subject to it. The amount payable is shown before you confirm.

Every purchase is a one-off. There is no membership, no subscription, no recurring charge, no stored balance and no automatic reordering. Nothing on this site will charge you a second time without a new order.

Payment is taken through the payment step at the end of checkout. Order data you enter is stored so we can process the order and answer questions about it, whether or not the payment step is completed.

6. Promotions and reduced prices

First-order code NETMARK10. A single fixed code giving 10% off the product subtotal of a first order. One use per customer and per delivery address. It does not apply to delivery costs, cannot be combined with another code, cannot be exchanged for cash, and is not applied retroactively to an order already placed. We may withdraw the code at any time; orders already placed under it are unaffected.

Free standard delivery over USD 65. Calculated on the product subtotal after any code is applied, excluding delivery costs. Express delivery, where offered, is never free.

Reduced prices. Where a product shows a struck-through price, that price is the lowest price we applied to that product in the 30 days before the reduction took effect. If we cannot state such a price, we show no struck-through price at all.

Prices are never justified on this site by reference to the environmental character of a product. Price differences between products follow from material, construction and quantity.

7. Delivery

We ship to the countries listed on the verzending en retour page. We aim to hand orders to the carrier within two working days and to deliver within 30 days of the agreement at the latest.

If we cannot deliver within 30 days, you may cancel the order and we refund everything you paid without delay. Risk of damage or loss passes to you when you, or someone you designate, takes physical possession of the goods.

8. Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. The full procedure, the deadlines and the model form are on the herroepingsrecht page.

Sealed items. Socks delivered sealed for hygiene reasons cannot be returned once the seal has been opened. This is stated on the product page, again in the cart and at checkout as a separate confirmation, and on the returns page. Items that are not delivered sealed keep the full right of withdrawal, opened or not.

9. Conformity

Your legal rights under Dutch law are not limited to a fixed number of years. How long a product must last depends on what you can reasonably expect from it. Any commercial guarantee we offer is in addition to those rights, never instead of them.

10. Complaints

Send complaints to support@starsocknl.rest with your order number. We confirm receipt within two working days and answer substantively within fourteen days. We have not joined a sector dispute committee and display no trust mark. Unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent Dutch court. ACM ConsuWijzer provides consumer information in the Netherlands.

11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to every agreement between us. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
